How to make an automated WordPress theme and plugins detector
This specific portion i have included with this post intentionally. I will discuss very briefly how the theme detector of themetechs.com is working/functioning. A detail tutorial will be will given in a different post. In this post, the step followed in this website will be discussed. Other online tools may follow different steps or algorithm. Manual method of detecting WP themes and plugins was the basic governing principle of designing the automated tool. Only difference was that in case of automated tool, everything was done by php coding. Basic steps followed are:
- 1. Planning
- 2. Gathering knowledge by studying online post
- 3. Writing code in php
- 4. Testing code from local server i.e. xampp server
- 4. Giving correction to the code and again testing in local server.
- 5. Making plugin using the developed code so that codes can be easily incorporated in WordPress site. I was thinking to do it another way. But I found that making plugin is the best option to apply my code in to my website.
